Pros and cons of Centris.ca app for iPhone and iPad
Centris.ca app good for
Much better than the realtor.ca app, but unfortunately scope is Quebec only.
Its a very good app but 2 things would make it great:
1) On the map view, it would be so great if the properties in your "favorites" were identified with a different colour icon or a star icon instead of a house. This would make searching for new properties so much easier! Its a nuisance to keep clicking on properties youve already added to your favorites.
2) Also, the ability to remove properties from your map to avoid clicking on the ones youve already seen and decided against.
This is an excellent app. You can search in list or map layout and apply a number of filters. Best real estate search app, hands down.
This makes it soneasy to look for properties on the go!
I dont know what else to say, it really is perfect!
The last update is very bad. Every time I finish a search the app go back to my location in the map.
Great app! I actually purchased a property that I found on this site. All that is missing is an indication where public transportation is in respect to the properties. Subway stations train station ect..
Some bad moments
This version is not fully compatible with iPad Pro ( the 12 inch) there is a problem when you start scrolling the screen right or left .the pictures are not in full size there is always overlapping images .please fix it
To bad Centris.ca is a monopoly... I really cant say much more than this app crashes 9 times out of 10... seriously annoying...
For the amount of money and time athag goes into buying a house, I cant believe this app is so bad.
The nav always leads me to go back to the main menu and loose by search.
Why are there no saved searches?
Why cant I send listings directly to my broker?
Why is matrix not totally integrated with Centris?
Excellent visual design, so it looks great, but no properties are found. I scrolled all over British Columbia for properties at any price/bedrooms, etc., but apparently there are just no homes for sale in BC right now, lol. Developers, please get back to me when your app is functioning - I would like to use it.
Broken search function, locks up when you send emails, missing key functionality from the main site. Its also in the little things, like not being able to tap the listing number to copy it. Anybody in a serious house hunt will quickly find key features missing that can be accessed through the main site. Whats funny is that the main site is also missing stuff you WILL find in the app. Centris doesnt have a single fully functioning resource that includes all relevant information, forcing you to juggle their products to make sense of your properties. Its frustrating and pathetic software.
This app used to work really well. It has a new bug though that makes using it very annoying. When you click on the details of a property, the map zooms back to your current location, rather than staying on the area you were searching.
